Setting a virtual fence for your fleet

If the trucks and vans of a company have a GPS system installed, the fleet manager can easily know whether they are moving in the desired direction and are expected to reach the destination on time or not.

With the help of GPS tracking software, one can set a virtual ‘fence’ for the fleet. The fleet manager would know immediately if the vehicle has gone on an unscheduled route or is at an unscheduled stop.

A GPS tracker also helps in locating the missing cargo with valuable goods very quickly. The chances of an accident due to speeding are also reduced. A GPS tracking system helps the business organisation in many other ways such as:

•    The manual driver logs are replaced by the automated data, which is recorded by the GPS tracking system.
•    The dispatcher can easily locate the vehicles by just looking at the screen.

The fleet manager can have better control over the fleet by using the GPS vehicle fleet tracking system. In a nutshell, GPS can effectively measure the performance of the employees by monitoring and comparing their productivity.
